When you book your ticket, you will be able to choose (FREE and included in the overall price):
One workshop and one lecture over the weekend.
One lecture on each of Saturday and Sunday
You may also choose one early morning workshop over the weekend.
Once you have booked your workshop/afternoon lectures, you will not be able to change these choices until you arrive at the venue via the Workshop Desk (subject to availability).
Venue: St Johns - Banbury
A practical morning class to gently awaken the body and rebalance. Mary’s approach is to encourage the individual to explore how each movement feels allowing them to gradually release the spine & connective tissues.
Mary Thornton is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Foundation trained teacher who has been using Pilates in her clinical practice since 1998. She is the Director of the Clinical Pilates Studio, East Sussex which specialises in movement rehabilitation (www.theclinicalpilatesstudio.co.uk). Before opening her clinic she worked extensively within the NHS & private practice as a senior clinician, specialising in muscular skeletal and women’s health treatment. Mary lectures to clinicians & teachers on all aspects of Clinical Pilates and devised the programme for the UKs first equestrian Pilates DVD ‘Pilates for riders’.
Requirements for course:
Open to all.
Bring Yoga mat and head cushion/towel.
Wear clothing that allows freedom of movement.
